TALE SPINNERS 2 – JANUARY 2018
Your Story on Stage – again!
Following the success of our Tale Spinners events in April and May of this year we shall be running another series next January.
Other Lives Productions in conjunction with the East Riding Theatre again invites you to spin a tale, fact or fiction. Submissions of original work are invited and you will be asked to read your own story at the event.
Anyone can enter. Stories must be between 1,000 and 2,000 words in length, and submitted via a Word document attached to an email, with TALE SPINNER 2 in the subject line to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your name, telephone number, email address, and which of the first six dates you are available to come and read your tale, if selected (more than one option gives us flexibility) must appear at the top of the title page of your submission, which should arrive no later than 30th November 2017.
As before, the main aim of the evening will be entertainment, but there will be a competitive element in that at the end of each evening there will be a prize-giving based upon audience votes. The winners of each of the six rounds plus the best two or three runners-up will go through to the final.
There is no entry fee for the stories, but the audience will be charged and this will fund some prizes and pay for venues.
